World's Strictest Parents

It would appear the values of discipline, hard work and respect for your elders are a thing of the past in the UK. With three quarters of British teens admitting to underage drinking, one in three to taking drugs and one in five teenagers being overweight – are British parents becoming too relaxed with their children? World’s Strictest Parents follows unruly teens as they get a taste of adolescent life from around the world.

In each episode, two rebellious teens leave their own families to spend 10 days living under the rules and roofs of an extremely disciplined family. The families include devout Christians from Alabama, strict Hindu’s from India and a tough South African family who forbid alcohol and smoking. These British teens will collide head on with the daily discipline, educational values and unflinching strictness of parents who know how to demand the best behaviour from their kids. They later realise that perhaps they’ve had it easy back home.
