Escape is an entertaining and contemporary television series that features some of the very best travel destinations and the unique holiday opportunities they offer. This brand new travel show is based on one of Australia’s leading travel sections, Escape, in News Limited’s Sunday newspapers – Sunday Herald Sun, The Sunday Telegraph, Sunday Mail, The Sunday Times and The Sunday Mail.

Viewers will be able to escape the familiar and go to inspirational destinations and enjoy an authentic travel experience that focuses on the unique cultures of each location and explores the areas and opportunities that “only the locals” could know about. This focus on local knowledge, cultures and people leaves the viewer with an achievable destination experience.

In each episode we’ll meet locals who share tips on how to really enjoy your stay there. TV presenter and travel journalist, David Whitehill hosts the show and throughout the series travels to the West Coast of America, India, Hawaii, South Island of New Zealand, Bali, China, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam.
