Pymble
Sold

When partners Cynthia and Bill left their eastern suburbs home to care for their sick parents, they never dreamt they would spend seven long years apart. Bill moved to Sydney’s western suburbs and Cynthia moved back to her family home in Pymble to care for her mother. Two years later, her brother Russ joined her and when their mother passed away, they inherited the large and dated family home. Desperate to resume their normal lives, they tidied the place up and put it on the market. But after seven months and several price reductions, they are no closer to a sale. Maybe the busy road is turning buyers away, or perhaps it’s the ancient kitchen and daggy bathroom. Until the house sells, Cynthia cannot be reunited with Bill. Will it ever sell?

Was good to see how to sell a house on a main road, I always wonder how you'd sell one on such a busy street. Am a bit sad to read anther comment that they should not have received your help though, the show is about selling houses not finding the most struggling family to help sell a house, These people tried to sell for 7 months and couldn't so they were in need of help as much as anyone who can't sell their house is, am sure selling a house on a main road no matter where it is is hard, and lets face it everyone wants the best price for their house so am not sure why the other post is upset that they wanted the best price for their house. The other post seems to have made a bit of a judgement based on location not on their circumstances, I wonder if the poster was as bitter when they sold the house on the bay in Melbourne, or if they live in Sydney and for some reason have an issue with the north shore?? Anyway I found it interesting, liked the blinds and the colours used, it sold for a very cheap price for Pymble though, guess the road makes a huge difference - thanks for a good show.

I don't think they deserved your help as they were not as desperate as the other people in the series. Why not choose a family out south west Sydney who are struggling and really need help, not the north shore people who inherited a $700,000 house and just wanted MORE money for it than it was worth.
